- Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
- Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
- You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him,
We shall also live with Him. - As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
- No one is holy like the Lord,
For there is none besides You,
Nor is there any rock like our God. - Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
- And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
- Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!
- To which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

- Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
- But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.
- Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.
- Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
- Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips
And from a deceitful tongue. - Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
- The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
He brings low and lifts up. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
- Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
- When pride comes, then comes shame;
But with the humble is wisdom. - Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.
