For we walk by faith, not by sight. For we live by faith, not by sight.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
