As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
This saying can be trusted: If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.This saying is trustworthy: “For if we died with him, we will also live with him.”
There is no holy one like the Lord, there is none beside you, nor is there a rock like our God.There is no one as holy as Yahweh, for there is no one besides you, nor is there any rock like our God.
Like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may advance on the path to salvation.As newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow.
May mercy, peace, and love be granted you in abundance.May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
He is himself the sacrifice for our sins— and not only for our sins but also for the sins of the whole world.And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.To which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.But say the things which fit sound doctrine.
For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.Who “will pay back to everyone according to their works.”
Therefore, the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from their trials and to hold the wicked for punishment until the Day of Judgment.Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.
Preach the message; be persistent in doing so, whether in season or out of season; convince, reprove, and encourage, but with great patience and instruction.Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.
In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.
Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.
Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus.Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus.
Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Persevere in prayer, with alert minds and thankful hearts.Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving.
For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?For who is God, besides Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God?
The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts.Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.
Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration.Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing.”
Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Fix your thoughts on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth.Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
When pride is nurtured, disgrace soon follows, but wisdom is the hallmark of the humble.When pride comes, then comes shame, but with humility comes wisdom.
A man’s ways may seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the hearts.

Bible verse of the day

Stay awake and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.
