| Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. | You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. | Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. |

Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. | Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. |
| Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. | Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. |
| Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. | Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving. |
| Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. | Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. |
| Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. | Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. |
| But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. | And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
| The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up. | The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. |
