| Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you. | Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. |
| A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ | And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. | And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. |
| Therefore you shall keep my commandments, and do them. I am Yahweh. | Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord. |
| Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it. | The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. |
| But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves. | But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. |
| The result of humility and the fear of Yahweh is wealth, honor, and life. | By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. |
| The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender. | The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. |
| Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh. | Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord. |
| For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. | For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. |
| A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. | A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. |
| Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established. | Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. |
| That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness. A poor man is better than a liar. | The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. |
| Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight. | Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight. |
| I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ | And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? |
| Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. | Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. |
| For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us. | For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us. |
| He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! | He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. |
| Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil. | Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. |
