Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty.Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
