And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.Seek good and not evil, That you may live; So the Lord God of hosts will be with you, As you have spoken.
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
