The Lord is good, an unfailing refuge in a time of distress. He takes care of those who place their trust in him. | Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him. |
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but rather a spirit of power and of love and of wisdom. | For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. |
The birth of Jesus Christ occurred in this way.
