To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen. - And now, dear children,
abide in him,
so that when he appears
we may have confidence
and not be put to shame by him
at his coming. - However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life.
- And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.

- This water prefigured Baptism, which now saves you. It does so not by the washing away of dirt from the body but by the pledge of a good conscience given to God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Exalted at God’s right hand, he received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
- But Jesus has now received a ministry that is far superior, for he is the mediator of a far better covenant that has been established on better promises.
- May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

for we shall see him as he really is.
Everyone who has this hope in him
keeps himself pure,
just as he is pure. - Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares about you.
- Yet, O Lord, you are our Father;
we are the clay and you are our potter;
all of us are the work of your hands. - And now, brethren, I want to remind you of the gospel I proclaimed to you, which you received and in which you stand firm.
