There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor? | There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another? |

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. | And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. |
