  • For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

    he enables me to tread on the heights.
  • So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
  • Though one may be overpowered,
    two can defend themselves.
    A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
  • And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
