One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple. | One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. |
It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows. | It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry. |
Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. | Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. |
