To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.Behold, blessed is the one whom God reproves; therefore despise not the discipline of the Almighty.

“If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.”If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.
