- Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
- You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
- Whoever hides hatred has lying lips,
And whoever spreads slander is a fool. - Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
- Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
- But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
- Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
- To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend,
Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. - He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
- You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
- Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so. - And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
- And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”
- He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction goes astray. - He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known. - Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
- Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
- Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.
