The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own esteem.The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it a wall too high to scale.
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
