While he was going and they were gazing up toward heaven, suddenly two men in white robes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up toward heaven? For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: “Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel,” which means, “God is with us.” Matthew 1:22-23	All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet: “Look! Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. You who want to be justified by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. Galatians 5:4	For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. righteousness grace law
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. 1 John 4:18	Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. love fear punishment
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling. Ephesians 4:4	For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. Spirit hope calling
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority. Colossians 2:9-10	For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God. John 3:18	There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. faith judgment
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to keep an eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses, in opposition to the teaching that you have learned; avoid them. But when they saw him walking on the sea, they thought it was a ghost and cried out; for they all saw him and were terrified. And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed. For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. 1 John 5:4	For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. faith God overcoming
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28	And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. love God calling
And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19	And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. trust Jesus blessing
Hence, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “no idol in the world really exists,” and that “there is no God but one.” 1 Corinthians 8:4	So, what about eating meat that has been offered to idols? Well, we all know that an idol is not really a god and that there is only one God. idols food
Then the Lord God said, “See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken. Genesis 3:22-23	Then the Lord God said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father. 1 John 2:24	So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, because a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant.

That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.
