Bible Verses about 'Believed'

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.However, to those who did accept him and who believed in his name he granted the power to become children of God.
Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)Then the other disciple who had reached the tomb first also went inside, and he saw and believed. They still did not understand the Scripture indicating that he must rise from the dead.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe in him already stands condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Then Jesus said to those Jews who did believe in him, “If you remain faithful to my word, you will truly be my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great: He was made visible in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed to the Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. And now, brethren, I want to remind you of the gospel I proclaimed to you, which you received and in which you stand firm. Through it you are also being saved, provided that you are holding fast to what I proclaimed to you. If not, then you have believed in vain.
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. No one claimed any of his possessions as his own, for everything was held in common.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.We have come to know and to believe in the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I am confident that I will behold the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.By faith Abraham also received the power of procreation, even though he was well past the age—and Sarah herself was barren—because he believed that the one who had made the promise would be faithful in fulfilling it.
Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. Those who accepted his message were baptized, and on that day about three thousand people were added to their number.
We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.For we will become partners with Christ only if we maintain firmly until the end the confidence we originally had.
So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard?
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast.
