- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. - And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.Next verse! With image
