- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - Whom have I in heaven but thee?
and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. - And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.Next verse! With image
