Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. | Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, loving, compassionate, and humble. | Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous. |
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor. | Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another. |
And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister. | And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. |
