He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
