| But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. | But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. |

| For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. | For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a person and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor follow other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. |
| But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. | The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. |
| Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. | Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. |
| To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life. | To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. |
