Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. | Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. |
Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good. | Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. |

Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. | Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. |
The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked is of little value. | The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth. |

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation. | As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. |
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. | Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. |

Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. | Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil. |
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. | Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. |
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. | My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. |
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. | Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. |
Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord.’ | Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. |
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up. | Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. |

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. | A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. |
What a person desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar. | The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. |
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one. | And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. |
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. | Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. |
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. | If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. |
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. | Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. |
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. | But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble. |
