| Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing. | Not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you would inherit a blessing. |
| But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. | But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread. |

| Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. | Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions. |
| “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! | Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. | Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body And refreshment to your bones. |
