- But when Jesus heard this, He responded to him, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.”
- Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
- But he said to them, “Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen; He is not here; see, here is the place where they laid Him.”
- Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
- You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
- Are five sparrows not sold for two assaria? And yet not one of them has gone unnoticed in the sight of God. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.
- But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought that it was a ghost, and they cried out; for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.”
- Are two sparrows not sold for an assarion? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. So do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.
- And He said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thereby He declared all foods clean.)
- Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.
- You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
- Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding!
Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. - Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
- Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
- Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
- Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh.
- Do not turn to the right or to the left;
Turn your foot from evil. - No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
- The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.
- Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
- Do not say, “Why is it that the former days were better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this. - Do not weary yourself to gain wealth;
Stop dwelling on it. - With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
- Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will also help you,
I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand. - My son, comply with the commandment of your father,
And do not ignore the teaching of your mother. - But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
- Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap.
- Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!
- Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.
- Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
- Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.
- Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ - Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
- Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves.
- Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.
- Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.
- So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
- You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;
Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me. - Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord
Or loathe His rebuke,
For whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights. - And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”
- So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread.
- It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
- For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
- Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
