- For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.

- He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

And obtains favor from the Lord. - Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
- By humility and the fear of the Lord
Are riches and honor and life. - Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many. - Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
- A wholesome tongue is a tree of life,
But perverseness in it breaks the spirit. - He who follows righteousness and mercy
Finds life, righteousness, and honor. - The ransom of a man’s life is his riches,
But the poor does not hear rebuke. - Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. - Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life. - For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. - Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
- He who keeps instruction is in the way of life,
But he who refuses correction goes astray. - For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
