- Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
- But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
- A wise son maketh a glad father:
but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. - Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
- And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
- And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
- Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
- But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
- Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
- Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
