- He said to them, “Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”
- Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
- Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
- Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.
- Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
- For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
- Let everything that has breath praise Yah!
Praise Yah! - For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.
- Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- You are all beautiful, my love.
There is no spot in you. - Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
- This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
- A man’s steps are established by Yahweh.
He delights in his way. - For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
- Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.
- The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent.
- If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.
- Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
- Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth. - Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.
