- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
- I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
- A fool's lips enter into contention,
and his mouth calleth for strokes. - It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. - Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.Next verse! With image
