Fill me with joy (2/4)

Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.Because I delivered the poor who cried, and the orphan who had no helper. The blessing of the wretched came upon me, and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.Looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who begets a wise son will be glad in him.
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.The vine withers, the fig tree droops. Pomegranate, palm, and apple— all the trees of the field are dried up; surely, joy withers away among the people.
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions of them to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord; and do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and trustworthy slave; you have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.’
The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.The hope of the righteous ends in gladness, but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.A wise child makes a glad father, but a foolish child is a mother's grief.
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce.
It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.The saying is sure: If we have died with him, we will also live with him.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.With my whole heart I seek you; do not let me stray from your commandments.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all day long.

For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield.
