- If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. - If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
- Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
To a nation that was not called by My name. - For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the Lord. - Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed. - He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
- Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake. - Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
- The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”
- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! - But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
- I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
- I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand.So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
