- No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.
- In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

then my heart will be glad, even mine. - Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are today.
- Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you if you return to him.
- What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- Tear your heart and not your garments,
and turn to Yahweh, your God;
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness,
and relents from sending calamity. - For Yahweh is our judge.
Yahweh is our lawgiver.
Yahweh is our king.
He will save us.
