| But sexual immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints. | But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints. |
| Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin that a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. | Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. |

| But because of sexual immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband. | Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. |
