And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may show yourselves blameless and beyond reproach, children of God without spot in the midst of an evil and depraved generation, among which you shine like lights in the world as you hold fast tenaciously to the word of life.Do all things without complaining or arguments; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding firmly the word of life.
Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.The one who has found his life will lose it, and the one who has lost his life on My account will find it.
The Lord God said, “Behold, man has become like one of us, for he has knowledge of that which is good and that which is evil. Now, we must prevent him from reaching out and taking the fruit of the tree of life lest he eat it and live forever.” The Lord God cast him out of the Garden of Eden; henceforth he was to labor tilling the soil from which he had come. Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out with his hand, and take fruit also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, this is the one who will save it.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
It is rash to pledge a sacred gift, or to make a vow and then have second thoughts. It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!” And after the vows to make inquiry.
The reward of humility and fear of the Lord is wealth, honor, and life. The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches, honor, and life.
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and the scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their deeds, as were recorded in the scrolls. The sea gave up all the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them. The dead were judged according to their deeds. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them according to their deeds.

For you are aware that you were ransomed from your futile way of life inherited from your ancestors not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.
Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied.Listen, my son, and accept my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.
This is the conclusion I have reached: it is fitting for a man to eat and drink and find satisfaction in the results of his labors under the sun during the brief span of life that God has allotted him. Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink, and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he labors under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward.
For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord. For one who finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord.
While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come. For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

Do not be concerned about your life and what you will have to eat, or about your body and what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.Do not worry about your life, as to what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. For life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends.Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends.
