Give me Jesus (3/4)

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.”Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”“Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.
In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.
To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.
But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.A sign was fastened above Jesus’ head, announcing the charge against him. It read: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”

Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
