- How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace,
who brings good news,
who proclaims salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing,
and obtains favor of Yahweh. - For,
“He who would love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good.
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
- Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. - For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you. - Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Seek good, and not evil,
that you may live;
and so Yahweh, the God of Armies, will be with you,
as you say. - Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
- A good name is more desirable than great riches,
and loving favor is better than silver and gold. - The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.”
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
- We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
- Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth.
How good is a word at the right time! - Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
- As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.
- See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.
- But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
- Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.
- Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way. - He has shown you, O man, what is good.
What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly,
to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? - Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
