Bible Verses about 'Health'

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”
Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.
So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless. So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless.
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.
