Bible Verses about 'Hell'

Have no fear of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is preferable for you to lose one part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into Gehenna.And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
And I say to you: You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it.And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Where can I go to hide from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to the heavens, you are there; if I take my rest in the netherworld, you are also there.Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
In the netherworld, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham, far off, and Lazarus by his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in agony in these flames.’And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and the scrolls were opened. Then another scroll was opened, the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their deeds, as were recorded in the scrolls. The sea gave up all the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them. The dead were judged according to their deeds.And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
At the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly.For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where will I receive help? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
The future bodes well for him who is generous in helping those in need and who conducts his affairs with justice.A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
And take the helmet of salvation as well as the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
God is our refuge and our strength, a well-proved help in times of trouble.God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
In peace I lie down and sleep, for only with your help, O Lord, can I rest secure.I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart places its trust in him. He has helped me, and I exult; then with my song I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
A true friend is one at all times, and a brother is born to render help in time of need.A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
Help us, O God, our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and wipe away our sins for your name’s sake.Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
For I, the Lord, am your God and I grasp your right hand. It is I who say to you, Do not fear; I will help you.For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help.Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to my Father for help and he will not immediately send me more than twelve legions of angels?Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
In my anguish I cried out to the Lord and called to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

The entire community of believers was united in heart and soul. Love is patient;
love is charitable.
Love is not envious;
it does not have an inflated opinion of itself;
it is not filled with its own importance.
Love is never rude;
it does not seek its own advantage.
It is not prone to anger;
neither does it brood over setbacks.
