Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.
By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.
Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.”
Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
But they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.”But when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
We love him, because he first loved us.We love because He first loved us.
We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.
Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God; so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
As for God, his way is perfect. Yahweh’s word is tried. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.

Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Extol him who rides on the clouds: to Yah, his name! Rejoice before him! A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.
But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
