Bible Verses about 'Himself'

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works. He gave himself for us in order to deliver us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people as his own who are eager to do good.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. In the same way, husbands should love their wives as they do their own bodies. The man who loves his wife loves himself.
Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband. However, each one of you should love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife should respect her husband.
Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a sacrificial offering whose fragrance is pleasing to God.
But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation. All this has been done by God, who has reconciled us to himself through Christ and entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation.
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Therefore, you will be given this sign by the Lord himself: The virgin will be with child, and she will give birth to a son, and she will name him Immanuel.
Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.Let no one deceive you in any way. That Day cannot come before the final rebellion occurs and the lawless one is revealed, the son of destruction. He is the adversary who sets himself in opposition to, and exalts himself above, every so-called god or object of worship, and who even seats himself in the temple of God, declaring himself to be God.
He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.A generous person will be enriched; he who refreshes others will also be refreshed.
Who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.Though he was in the form of God, he did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. Being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even death on a cross.
He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”Then he said to all who were with him, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
Namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation. In other words, God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, and not holding people’s transgressions against them, and he committed to us the message of reconciliation.
Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise.
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds. He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live in righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends. If anyone would boast, let him boast in the Lord. For it is not the one who commends himself who is really approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from acts that lead to death so that we may worship the living God.

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.

But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. In the same way, even the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs that cannot be put into words.
