And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
In that I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, so that you may live and become numerous, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to take possession of it.In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Guarding the paths of justice, And He watches over the way of His godly ones.He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.
But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold. My foot has held on to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside.But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who wait for His faithfulness.Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
By this we know that we remain in Him and He in us, because He has given to us of His Spirit.Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding; His praise endures forever.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen for His own inheritance.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Praise the Lord! Blessed is a person who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments.Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
The Lord also restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased double all that Job had.And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Who will repay each person according to his deeds.Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless.If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His faithfulness to a thousand generations for those who love Him and keep His commandments.Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His provisions and His statutes which He has commanded you.Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
A fool always loses his temper, But a wise person holds it back.A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
And in Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his arms. And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.
