Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life.Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.
The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.
Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.
Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.
