Bible Verses about 'Human'
For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. | For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. |
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh. | For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. |
But just as it is written: “Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.” | But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. |
God is not a man, that He would lie, Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? | God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? |
What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
Who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross. | Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. |
And the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God. | And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. |
I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass. | I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass. |
Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down, But a good word makes it glad. | Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad. |
As in water a face reflects the face, So the heart of a person reflects the person. | As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man. |
For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. | For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. |
Many plans are in a person’s heart, But the advice of the Lord will stand. | There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. |
So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent. | And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. |
For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. | For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. |
For am I now seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. | For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. |
Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin. | Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. |
He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, without the possibility that mankind will find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. | He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. |
That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. | That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. |
For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. | For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. |
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. | So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. |
For since by a man death came, by a Man also came the resurrection of the dead. | For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. |
The mind of a person plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps. | A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. |
If I speak with the tongues of mankind and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. | Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. |
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. | And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. |
For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over every ruler and authority. | For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. |
