Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
