- While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”
- Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
- Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

And that my soul knows very well. - I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
- And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ ” - Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.
- When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”
- For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
- I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
- Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
- Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
- Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope. - But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
- I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
- I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
- You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
