He removes every branch
that does not bear fruit,
and every branch that does
he prunes to make it bear even more. - I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.

“I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in me,
even though he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives
and believes in me
will never die.
Do you believe this?” - I will strengthen the house of Judah,
and I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back
because I have taken pity on them,

as though I had never cast them off;
for I am the Lord, their God,
and I will answer them. - I intend to prove the holiness of my great name which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. Thus, the nations will know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I will display my holiness in their sight.
