If you would seriously consider my reproof, I would pour out my thoughts to you and make my precepts known to you. | Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. |
You did not choose me. Rather, I chose you. And I appointed you to go out and bear fruit, fruit that will remain, so that the Father may give you whatever you ask him in my name. | Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. |

You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you. | Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. |
But to those of you who are listening to me, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. | But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. |
Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will remove from your body a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh in its place. | A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. |
So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. | Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. |
You shall be holy, for I, the Lord, am holy. I have chosen you from among all people that you shall be mine. | And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. |
“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” | Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. |
Whom do I have in heaven except you? And besides you there is nothing else I desire on earth. | Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. |
What I commanded them was this: Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. If you follow all the ways that I command you, then you will prosper. | But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. |
The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will permit you to find him, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you. | The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you. |
When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you. | Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. |
O Lord, you have examined me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I stand; you perceive my thoughts from a distance. | O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. |
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; nor will the waters engulf you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not consume you. | When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. |
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever. | And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. |
I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |
I did not hesitate to tell you what was for your benefit as I proclaimed the word to you and taught you publicly as well as from house to house. | And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house. |
I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances. | And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. |
Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge. | Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. |
Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest. | Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. |
I have instructed you in the ways of wisdom and led you along the paths of righteousness. | I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. |
Because in my eyes you are precious, because you are honored and I love you, I will give people in exchange for you and nations in return for your life. | Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. |
This is my commandment: love one another as I have loved you. | This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. |
I treasure your word in my heart for fear that I may sin against you. | Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. |
