When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt. Leviticus 5:17	If anyone sins, doing any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. sin law punishment

But as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and therefore you do not need anyone to teach you. Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the presbyters of the Church so that they may pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:14-15	Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Therefore, we can say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?” Hebrews 13:6	So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?” trust fear protection
Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law. Romans 13:8	Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. law love debt
Lying lips conceal hatred, and anyone who slanders another is a fool. Proverbs 10:18	He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool. speaking gossip lying
Do not let anyone lead you astray. “Bad company corrupts good morals.” 1 Corinthians 15:33	Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.” evil goodness friendship
And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:38	He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me. suffering Jesus following
Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts. Romans 14:1	Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions. faith community
Rather, revere Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be prepared to offer an explanation to anyone who asks you to justify the hope that is in you. However, do so with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15	But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear. evangelism Jesus hope
Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ. Colossians 2:16-17	Let no one therefore judge you in eating or drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day, which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s. food sabbath judgment
Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due when it is in your power to grant it. Proverbs 3:27	Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. honesty giving debt
Whoever heeds admonition is on the path to life, but anyone who rejects correction goes astray. Proverbs 10:17	He is in the way of life who heeds correction, but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray. obedience life listening
Can someone hide in a secret place so that I cannot see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth? Jeremiah 23:24	“Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh. “Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh. God heaven
Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone. 1 Thessalonians 5:15	See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all. blameless righteousness evil
While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. James 1:13	Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. temptation desires understanding
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. John 13:20	Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me. gentleness Jesus community
Anyone who leads an honorable life walks in safety, but whoever pursues wicked ways will be found out. Proverbs 10:9	He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out. sin safety life
Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8	For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a good person someone would even dare to die. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. sin salvation death
You have heard that it was said of old: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that anyone who looks with lust at a woman has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8	He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love. love God

Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
