| If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. | Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. |
| Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. |
