Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world. John 16:33	I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead.
