| By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. | By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. |

| He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life. | He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. |
| Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? | Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? |
| Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
| Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” | Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. |
| For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. | For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. |
| By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. | Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. |
| This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother. | And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. |
| Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. | And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |
| When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
| Then Jesus said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.” | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
| I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever. | And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. |
| I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. | These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. |
| The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever. | And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. |
| If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. | If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. |
| Whoever denies the Son doesn’t have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also. | Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. |
| I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. | I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. |
| If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him. | If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. |
| Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.” | Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. |
